The 2021 National Two Sessions are coming as promised. On drug control, what issues are the NPC deputies concerned about?

Wei Chun, NPC deputy and head of Prevention and Management Brigade of Anti-drug Detachment of Qiqihar Public Security Bureau in Heilongjiang Province:

As a grassroots anti-drug police, it is my duty and mission to prevent and crack down on drug violations and crimes and maintain social stability. At the same time, it is hoped that the whole society can actively participate in the people's war against drugs, publicize anti-drug knowledge, make the people stay away from drugs, refuse drugs, make contributions to promoting high-quality development, and welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements. This time brought to strengthen the supervision of compound preparations containing tramadol and other suggestions, will bring the voice of the grass-roots to the national NPC and CPPCC, not the majority of the police and grass-roots people trust.

Wang Tao, deputy to the The National People Congress Of People‘s Republic Of China and director of the political department of Guangdong Sanshui Compulsory Isolation and Rehabilitation Center:

I am a police officer for drug rehabilitation. When I attend the Fourth Session of the 13th National People's CongressNPC), my focus is still on helping drug addicts from compulsory quarantine to return to their families and integrate into society, as well as strengthening epidemic prevention and control in supervised places. I will continue to earnestly perform my duties, tell the story of drug rehabilitation in Guangdong, and pass on the voice of Guangdong's judicial rehabilitation.

Zhu Lieyu, deputy to the National People's Congress and director of Guangdong Guoting Law Firm:

While enjoying the social resources brought by millions of traffic, public figures should shoulder corresponding social responsibilities, establish a positive public image and carry forward positive values to the society. While breaking through their own moral bottom line, the drug taking behavior of stars also causes huge negative demonstration effect to the society and others. It is suggested that "once a drug user, a lifetime ban" should be written into laws and regulations to clean up the drug-related mess among stars. This is not discrimination against the entertainers involved in drug abuse, nor is it an infringement of their rights to employment or social security. Restricting the broadcast of films and television works of actors involved in drug abuse is an attribute of a particular profession, just as people with infectious diseases cannot be cooks, and people with a history of sexual assault or harassment cannot be teachers. There is a legal basis for the ban on practicing. A lifetime ban on performing is a restriction on the participation of drug-related persons in behaviors of wide spreading significance, which is a restriction on their occupation or work content. The scope of the performance ban should be accurately defined, and the joint and several liability of the stakeholders and the company should be clearly defined.
